A totally breathtaking drawing of the characters in 'Sonic Boom' style! Love the way the angle is showing the characters! Their poses and expressions are totally outstanding!
The outlines, the colouring, the shadings and highlights, and the background are all very phenomenal and inspirational!

Ugh, this new show reminds of the time Strong Bad and my buddy Keith tried hosting some show on animal planet. It was canceled before the first commercial break, methinks cancelation before the first commercial is this show's fate.

ajdhgjfowih everything about this image is perfect. Just perfect. You capture the characters perfectly and I honestly think they're more appealing than the official art in some ways; Knuckles is till beefy without overdoing it and Tails has that strange cute yet srs look; Sonic looks PERFECT I don't know what it is but he just looks really good in this piece; it's almost like you kept some elements of his original design and put them in this.
Also I have to say, colored eyes without pupils and dark outlines is more appealing than green oval eyes with pupils. Just looks cooler.

a good starter program is Paintool SAI, for this I used photoshop cs6
