I am forced to say awwww. I am such a sucker for cats. Did have three at one point, now down to one. My big guy, Louis, bit the big one just before Christmas. I was gutted, cried like a baby and drop-kicked his cat-box the full length of the vet's car park! The one I have left is Louis' sister called Pita (which stands for Pain in the Arse), a name I gave her when she just was weeks old - before she fell out of a top floor flat in Glasgow! She still has a metal plate in her leg and chases her tail, aged 15. Mad cat, let me tell you.....

Thank you! Most people around here don't have their pets fixed because of the expense and the fact that the coyotes have a taste for them, I have all my pets fixed, they don't roam that way and they don't add to the overpopulation of stray animals, they come in at night!

I guess it is the same all around the world
My cats are all fixed too but they can't go out cause i live in an appartmentbuilding in the city,
but if i was living somewhere else i wouldn't let them go out either.
I would be terrified not knowing where they are, lots of cats get killed by cars and there are horrible people out there who poison cats or even shoot at them.....
My cats are lucky to have a catsafe balcony where they can enjoy the sun,
but many times i think about all the poor homeless kitties out there who have to face all the danger.

All my cats stay right close to the house, they have never gone off the property, they know they are safe here, they have open access to our shop and most of the time thats where they hang out. We have two strays that have made their home here, I finely got to pet the latest one that showed up, he's very thin so I have him on a good protein diet!

Many of the kitties that show up here seem to just need a place to rest and gather up some strength, so I put food and water out for them, most of the time they go on their way in a few days. I have always loved cats and their independent ways.
