Description
Two monkey dudes, loosely based on francois' langurs. They want to come over to your house for tea. Yup.Graphite on paper plus PSCS for tinting.

These monkeys were a pretty pivotal group of characters for me, as you can tell by the URL I ended up choosing.

I would NOT want to have a monkey named after me....I guess that's just me though. Man, if these were in clown suits this could go under Horrifying. Monkeys are uuuuuugly, but you portrayed them well.

I really, really like the one with the smaller hands. He has a face that would scare the poop out of a five year old.

Truth be told, I find monkeys to be fascinating and rather creepy at the same time.
I don't really know who Francois is, but these langurs are named after him, the lucky fellow. I took a bunch of photographs of them while at the SD zoo, and the one on the right, with the missing tooth and small hands is based on one of the photos. It's here if you wanna see it: [link]

Your Earl Grey is safe. These guys like Irish breakfast in the mornings and enjoy winding down in the evenings with a nice pot of chamomile. And monkey biscuits.
These guys and the crow are going to be my new additions to my group of characters, I think.

I've been to that zoo! I remember those monkies I think. They look like they could mess you up. (you do know that monkies would be the perfect ninjas, as they have 5 appendages with which to hold weapons)
Ugh. The monkies can have the chamomile, and the only true Irish breakfast is one involving the hair of the dog that bit ya'.
Yes! Definitely add these guys to your characters. I love all of them.
