"Echo" by Trapt

My entry for Yellow Field Stable 's Spring Break Horseshow, hosted by *Mendokusee , with Sherwood, ridden by Jaidyn Ocatal.

Sorta cheated a bit. The pose was kicking my butt so I took the photo and put in into photoshop so i could make proper circles there Oh, and clothes. I hate clothes
(oh and I loved the jump, so I stole it Gave it my own personal touch though )

This is his very first show, technically, so we're very anxious

At the gate, she nervously held tightly onto the blue roan's reins, an unpleasant look plastered upon her face, screaming fear and unease. A hand covered her black gloves, and a reassuring smile came to her as the young woman looked down to see who it was. Gazing into the caramel colored eyes of the man she worked her life with.

"Jacob, I'm..." she spoke, but her voice came out as a whisper.

"It's okay, Jade. You're going to do great. Sherwood knows what to do, you just have to tell him where to go and look pretty," he told her, taking her hand away from the rein, squeezing it tightly to comfort her.

She managed a small smile, asking him, "And if I mess up?"

"Relax. This is your first show. His too," he gestured to the stallion she was atop of, "and we expect you to mess up. So prove us otherwise. The girls are here watching, even Caro."

Jaidyn looked towards the Rainflower Stables section, right in front of their trailer, and saw three familiar faces of her friends, practically family. Why wasn't Jacob with them? she thought to herself, looking back to him.

"Go, you were just called. I'm here, don't worry. You'll do fantastic," he kissed her knuckles and stepped away, allowing Jaidyn to gather her reins and urge Sherwood into the ring to start the run.
