A drawing of Cloud from FFVII I did a few years back, but never really put up anywheres. I did this after having just seen Advent Children for the first time, and I was really into Bears, too. This was during the YOSH phase of my life. Right after having made Sharknife & PENG, then going right into Rival Schools for Udon.I was trying to be hyper-anime with this pic. mostly in the coloring style. Kinda trying to be as SHONEN as possible.

How is it your Cloud's sword is more awesome ("awesomer"?) than any of the swords he actually gets in FF7?
Speaking of RIVAL SCHOOLS, what ever happened to that collection/TPB that was supposed to come out? I think I have, like, the first issue or two, but my comic store never got the rest of the series in stock, so I never finished it.

Yeah, well Cloud gets that sword in Advent Children. He has some REALLY bad ass swords in the movie. Maybe someday they'll remake / renew the game and include some of those bad boyz.
Rival Schools TPB never came out coz orders were low, it was late from the start, and it got canceled. I finished the whole story, and it was pretty cool (especially when Hyo shows up, for some samurai action), but sadly, the series just went astray. I learned a lot.
I like to think someday the whole series could be printed... But the demand for RS in general I don't think is too high, unfortunately.

A fuckin' shame, 'cause RS was a bad-ass game. I remember being in one of my high school's plays and having my PSOne backstage with RS hooked up. Everybody was brawlin' it up whenever they weren't on stage. IT RAWKED.
I've been considering renting "Advent Children" from Blockbuster, but I always find something else that catches my eye. Maybe I should just suck it up, cough up the dough, and watch the damn thing. My roommate in college had a bootleg copy of it before it was released, but it SSSSUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKED. Worst quality on a bootleg I'd ever seen, and I've seen some pretty bad bootlegs in my day....
