Description People have asked me for progress photos, so here it is! There is only on ebecause I was suffering from technical difficulties and ineptitude with the camera and computer last night!

Only as a hobby. This is my first - and probaly last - attempt at harp building.

This is turning out so lovely! My niece is a harpist, and she would love to learn how to make one of her own. I wish you success learning to play once your creation is complete.

Thank you very much. I am looking for ward to learning how to play, I had a taster workshop last weekend which has left me desperate for more.

The making is not so complex and there are some good plans and kits available, your niece should give it a try.

I hope it will turn out sounding as well as it is starting to look! I have never played harp before, nor can any of my family, so it will be a new challenge to learn to play the harp once finished.

I don't know about being clever. This has become a bit of an obsession over the years, still it is coming on . I hope to finish it in the next few months. There is not really a lot of work left to do, but time is the dictating factor - Oh, and the money to buy the strings!

Then all I have to do is learn how to play it!
