Description I decided to make a new pony tutorial to show my updated techniques! It's changed a little from my previous tutorial. My sculpts are now more refined and less fragile.
If you're wondering why I use a 50/50 Super Sculpey and Sculpey Firm mix, it's for two reasons. One, Super Sculpey is too soft, Sculpey firm, too hard. This way, my sculpts can be bumped, without messing up any details. Second, With the grey clay mixed into beige, the clay color is primarily grey - which makes details WAY easier to see. (And scratches or unblended areas, as well as sculpted detail like the eyes/muzzle become clear as day.

If you have any questions about my process, please feel free to ask me! I'm always willing to help out anyone that is willing to learn! I learned through DeviantArt tutorials, so it's my pleasure to return the favor!

Part Two!

Interesting! The epoxy core would be a solution to some minor cracks in the armature joints.
