This is a fairly decent photo and the pose of the girl is very nice and expressive. On the plus sides of the picture is the tint and the angle, while the girl looks at ease with the camera. There is a nice and sharp focus and the depth of field covers the girl in her entirety. Personally, I might have shot it with a bigger aperture to allow the grass and the leg on the right side of the frame to be out of focus, but that is based on personal taste.
Another thing that might be equally subjective is the crop. I don't particularly fancy square crops, but in this case it serves a purpose, as the subject is well positioned inside the frame. Personally, I might have left a little space on the edges for the arm and the hair, but there are people who like it like this as well.
In general, i think that the picture doesn't lack in contrast too much, but it looks underlit, making the post-processing of the whiteness of the teeth look unnatural. It's either that, or your sister has REALLY white teeth! In this sense, and if that's the case, you might want to consider lowering the impact of your "whitening" filters and perhaps add just a bit of them to the white of the eyes (only a little!), or just widening the luminosity range of the rest of the picture to bring the shirt a bit closer to pure white.
You can understand that it's normal not to consider the picture as being original, but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful. You managed to capture a good composition and a very natural pose from the girl and you should be really proud for it. The rest is mere technicalities. Keep up the good work!

Two important things to know before you read this critique:
One, I don't do the "stars" thing. I just can't find myself to rate art on a non-word and non-expressive basis, so I just don't find it legitimate to do that.
Two, I'm not much a photographer at all, so this is all coming simply from a fan of photography and a fan of yours!
I have looked through your other photos of this shoot, and from all of the shots and especially this one, I can tell that you are a champion of capturing a fantastic expression at just the right moment. And that's pretty hard, ya know? You can get somebody to smile for as long as you want, hold the pose for as long as you ask, but there's something about capturing the whole figure at the concise moment. Bravo, dear, you have always been such a wonderful visual artist, whether that be with photography, sketches, or digital art.
I particularly enjoy the choice of color and light in this shot. It's pleasant and easy to look at, to observe. The faded atmosphere is warm and inviting, an expression I was never able to achieve in my previous photography attempts.
Though this may be a little too observant or something of that sort, I appreciate the bottom-right inclusion of the grass. You didn't force the model into the picture, you truthfully just brought her into the surroundings and let her become something within it.
Good choice of angle, especially considering the pose of the model.
My only proposal is something I'm not an expert at explaining, but I can try my best. The backgrounds of this session, aside from "Ellyse 1" and "Ellyse 3", are a bit distracting. It is not necessarily flamboyant or unattractive, it just that I hope for an equally beautiful counterpart to agree with the close-range set-up, or a less eye-catching appearance.
Overall, this is an easily lovable shot, and I am so glad that I get to see you in action with the camera. Then only other thing I can ask is that you continue to keep doing it! I am so excited to see what else you can capture and portray in the future. Tell your sister that she was excellent and she should continue exploring the modeling world! Thank you for taking the time to get out there, capture moments of life, and spread your aesthetic, growing brilliance as an artist.

It's the least that I could do what-with all of the support you've given me and other artists across deviantART for so long. Please, please, please do more photography - I mean that! You've got such a gift as an artist, and I'm simultaneously jealous of and excited for you!

Very-very good critique! That is exactly what I prefer to see even in my own critiques. From my point of view any work like this should be marked as fair even for its size and for the time that the "writer" had spent on leaving a thoughtful and detailed comment instead of a little comment where would be written only "Super", "Good" or even "Wow"! Yours is a beautiful example of an incontrovertible work/critique!
