Tyrk’s Past

He was born on March 9 and was adopted two days later by Athen and Marge. Athen is ex-army and is prone to drink. They had another son who is five years older named Adrian. By the time Tyrk was five, he had developed good instincts and reflexes. This is so because Athen is a violent drunk. He came out about his bisexuality when he was sixteen and was nearly beaten to death. A week later, he attempted suicide. Adrian and his uncle Martin took Tyrk to the nearest hospital. The scars on his wrists have faded but if you look close enough, you can see them.

When he first shifted, his mother was in the room giving her weekly talk about how disappointing he was. She ran screaming. Adrian took one look and promptly burst into tears. Tyrk and Adrian have a very good relationship. He smuggled Tyrk out to save his life. They still meet every month at Sanctuary.

He first met Reg while wandering the streets. By this time, he was 19. A day later, he had his first assignment. He was to kill a member of a rival gang. He slit the shifter’s throat while he was sleeping. The body was never found, but the head was discovered in the gang’s headquarters. Since then, Tyrk became Reg’s hired assassin. He is proficient with firearms and hand to hand combat due to his father’s insistence.

Ever since he met Pidge, Tyrk has always played a little game: Try to make Pidge blush. Usually, this is accomplished through flirting. Tyrk enjoys this because he finds Pidge slightly attractive.

Tyrk has a spot where he goes to hide from the world. It is an abandoned park in the middle of the city. He goes there whenever he is depressed. Usually, Leiska is the one that drags him away.

His uncle Martin is a police captain and also his contact in the human world. Tyrk goes to him whenever he needs a weapon. Usually, his weapon of choice is a knife or a HK USP pistol. He is currently not on assignment.
