Again and yet again I can only say: I love love love it *^* ♥ The club's comment steals me everything I could write now, but...now I can do something I wasn't able to when translating our German comment.

Himitsu-no-Mahou [2009-07-30 11:40:37 +0000 UTC]

Considering that you had only read two chapters, you nicely managed to put the air of “Himitsu no Mahou” on paper; that’s quite easy to recognize by looking at the characters, since their look is quite natural and true to the original. On one hand it’s clearly a theme classed among the first season; but on the other hand, it foreshadows the theme of the third season and has a rather interconnecting feel about it: that’s some hard to beat plus factor!

Technically and content-wise it’s also beautiful to look at. You managed to capture a lot of characters on this artwork and this resulted in a lot of themes, which ultimately tipped the scales to your favor.

There’s also the fact that these themes were nicely picked and only had a few mistakes (for example Pink and Firey, who really aren’t extremely close friends, but you noticed that yourself). Though you pictured a lot of characters on one artwork, it doesn’t feel crowded since you used different levels. Thus this work looks nicely partitioned and appears harmonious to the viewer; not least because of your choice of colours for the background.

Of course there are a few mistakes (for example the wrong hair-colours for Green and Gary (her hair is brighter than his in HnM) and Nocturn’s scar, which is on the wrong side of his face), but they are excused, since you have the least knowledge of all contestants because you cannot read German and had no chance to know, and could be called a HnM-beginner at that ;3 Your usage of the original clothing (aside from Grey?) is a huge plus factor, too (but there’s also a red line on the skirt :3 ).

There’s also something which caught our eye, even if it most likely wasn’t your intention (because you couldn’t know): the white water-like arcs in the right corner are close to Grey. It seems as if they’re spreading around him, and Grey was also the person who really managed to introduce her to her whole Hikari-family and their world. Pink may be the one to awaken her, but it was Grey who lead her into the new world ^^ Having this in mind, we liked this display a LOT. There are so many details and so many small hints (snow, first season-ish etc.), so many themes and of course your great art which ultimately resulted in you being our #1.

This picture is so hilarious! I love all the charas especially Sibi O__O He looks so original and the outfit is awesome!
Also Green's pose is adorable! I really like it, also like Gary is looking.

Tu as atteint un nouveau stade de la maîtrise de la colo. Laisse-moi t'appeler "maître" ! *O*
J'adore les roses. Les différents fonds pour les personnages sont vachements bien faits °° Y'a aussi une atmosphère différente pour chaque (plus "la vie est belle" pour Firey et Pink, plus "la vie est pas trop belle" pour Nocturn et Gary...)
Green qui a peur de la neige ! Nyaaaa~ >w<
Les cheveux de Gary... c'est possible que tu te sois emmerdée pour la line ? xD Trob beaux ! °O°
Sibi rocks, of course (en même temps il est dérivé de Sil, il devait forcément roxer u_u)
Et heuu,... le type au fond à droite (on voit que je suis à fond dans Himi moi xD) il a comme une aura mystérieuse autour de lui... °°
J'adore le regarde déterminé de White ! Et Nocturn... (j'en connais une qui va nous faire un petit infarctus~ xD)
