Video paintingFirst SAI drawing ever and I'm not happy with it. It's hard to learn with a new program. XD What I love is that SAI allows me to draw more traditional. I won't put it in scraps since it took really long and maybe you guys like it more than I do. XD
Anyway, I still love Fly'n and you guys should know it. Still have to finish these plushies. Grrrrr.....

Good questions. I think I mostly used the pen and water, tool. For the background I used fuzzy settings and for the rest I have no idea. I changed them so often just to play around.

It's hard work, Retromissile, and that makes you unsatisfied for the first time you draw the picture on SAI or even more drawings you draw, I dunno. Don't feel too bad about it, either.
Believe in hard work and hopefully you can make it what you really want.
I think you drew the pic really good and I like Dyer's expression. "What am I gonna do with these jerks!?"

And yes, that's hard to get used to new program. I, though, when see photoshop and how much of confusing stuff it haves, run in panic back to my SAI. I personally think what SAI is easier one to learn :C

Yeah when I started with SAI I ran back to photoshop. But somehow SAI really feels better to work with. It's so traditional.

Oh, sorry! I should try to form sentences better - it's all my English. I have problems with it sometimes so there's always some chance my interlocutor(is that a right word? I can't even read it) will understand me the wrong way :C

Honestly I really like how it went, especially knowing it's your first try on SAI! Godness, the colours and shadings are so gorgeous, I wish I could colour this way in SAI. xD
Really, I think you did well to not put this in the scraps because I'm sure that your watchers will really love how this came out.

I am in LOVE with all of the colors in this. Even if you're not perfectly happy with it you're definitely right that we might, because I really like it I especially like how you included Dyer's monitor from his ship- I never even thought of drawing that before! xD
I really should get around to coloring some of my own Fly'n sketches that I had done sometime I'm so lazy. xDDDD
