His fingers, positioning themselves thoughtlessly, slide over the strings.
Pausing long enough to hear the kind sound of each note; strumming softly enough to feel alive.
The beautiful notes of the beginning of a song beckon through the silence.
Don’t make a sound.
Hear the beauty. Can you feel the sound?
The music stops. All is silent...
The eruption of claps fills the room; Replacing the gentle notes of beauty and the soft strums of love.
