WARNING: HUGE FILEOriental-Inspired.
It has been finished for a while.
Didn't care to shoot pictures of it before a few days ago.
All the scales are made of paper.
I fastened them by using a pincet and some glue.
It took a while to get them all on the right places.
Red paint = spraypaint. Looks wery glossy on the picture.
Clay: "DAS" modelling material. White.
Skeleton is made of wire.
The tail-feather is a gold painted feather.

My goodness, this is wonderful! If I may ask, are the whiskers wire, or just carefully painted? Also, did you sculpt the body?

They are wire, yes.
The body is sculpted from air-drying clay over a wire-frame base.
Most of it was covered by paper-pieces to make the scales

It looks great and the gloss of the paint actually gives more of a scale look to it I think.
