Yeah. That's the crazy bit. I know it's a photo, but there's something about it that's confusing my brain.

I like the lighting and and colors and all. But I would have made the composition a little different. The can is smashed, so it is deformed. Perhaps you could have used a bigger portrait framing to expres this. As a reference to its original shape. So the can would be in the bottom of the frame, and you would be able to feel the contrast between what a can normally looks like and how your smashed one is looking right now, without having to show both of them.
Just my 2 cents, technically this photo is great.
