Yes, H. serum. H. latidens would of course be the European species. I don't know from where the cast comes, maybe it has something to do with Björn Kurtén's projects. There's even a black coated (you know, "the black tiger") reconstruction of the beast at the museum.

Yes, the reconstruction probably, or most certainly, is based on the Friesenhahn cave findings, likewise the skull cast.
