I couldn't hold off doing this any longer. I had to finish it. And I wanted to finish it quickly. So if you've seen the sketch of this pic, you'll notice that the dragon is gone. Why? Because (1) I'm lazy. (2) I wanted the dragon's colors to match Apollo but I didn't like any of the colors that did. (3) I don't know how to CG dragons and I'm too lazy to figure it out or find the tutorials to do so. So maybe next time...I don't really like how his hair turned out but that's over and done with, so there's not much I can do about that anymore. I also don't really like how his shirt, but meh.
But still, I think overall, this picture turned out pretty okay. I'm somewhat satisfied and relieved that I'm done with it.
Sketch: Used what I always used - 0.5 mechanical pencil on 9x12 sketch paper. I'm thinking of getting a smaller pad. It's getting a little annoying when my scanner can't scan the whole sketch.
Coloring: Photoshop 7.0. Time? ....Do you want to include the months that it'd been lying on my hard drive?

It's a really cool picture but one thing is bugging me why does he have very a very sudle chest? It looks like he has beasts I don't mean to offend you but I can see the curve of a chest.

O.O That's so cooool!!! Your CG-ing is so totally awesome!!! I wish I could do that....oh well I'll stick to my smooth shading. -_-;; The colors are wonderful, the gold/orange contrasts wonderfully with the black and the yellow adds to it as well.....so niiiffftyyy.... and just so you know....the first thing that popped into my head was "Golden-Haired Waif-man of the Sun" ....maybe I've been spending too much time with Alex. And one more comment...the sun rays are a nice touch and really pull the whole Sun-God thing together.

Nicely done, as always. The hair is fine; you can actually sense its movement. I like the clothes too.
P.S. Yeah, I gave up coloring my sketches, it takes forever, so I just enhance them now.
P.P.S. I think I have the Photoshop brush you used in the background, and I think I used it in one of my works, but I don't remember which one.

This is really great! I like this a lot - I didn't see the sketch, so I can't compare. But I personally enjoy the hair and the shirt and the colors - I also really like the bow design. Well done!
