He must be of a different country/order of doctors, or at least that's what *I* think he looks like.
A plague doctor priest? A Plague Doctor High Priest!
That would work as he could also give last rites and spiritual comfort to the family and friends....if the person had any left.
Of course that hood would have to be for offical business/special occasions, out in the field it would be impractical.
Sorry, getting technical, but it opens up all kinds of theories and possible story plots. Now if only my muse would actually -attempt- to work with me..... *snarl!*

Well, the hood design is like a Death Eater hood of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. You can see more hood detail here [link]
My costume is a combination of a Death Eater and my original plague doctor mask, I thought it would be interesting. Don't you think?

Ooohhh, IC now. The detail is not easy to see in the 'woods' picture. Even if noone knows what inspired the design, it very muchly adds to the creepiness. Nice work!
