And because we'd love to see Zlesdins represented in plenty on the trail, here's a little event to prepare your steeds, or your riders, for the trails ~ L O C A T I O N. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .,Welcome to the Italian Dolomites! A mountain range in northeastern Italy. The Dolomite Mountains are renowned for skiing in the winter months and mountain-climbing, hiking, cycling and many other outdoor activities in summer. This autumn, Zlesdin is proud to announce an event specifically aimed at preparing your Zlesdins or riders to participate in the White December.ZLESDINS ONLY NEED ONE ENDURANCE EXPERIENCE (any season, training or event) to qualify for entering the White December - so entering this should do the trick if your horse doesn't already have the experience.Weather: The weather will be chill, but kind, with barely any wind. The days will be partially sunny with the occasional gathering of clouds. Average day temperature 6-10 degrees celsius. The colours of autumn will be in full fire. Picture stash for setting references and general inspiration ,C O N C E P T. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .As you may know, 'Zlesdad' Seiger Sassayev is Captain General of the notorious mercenary company 'The Widowmakers' (or, Emerrakhi, in their own language). For this task he has given command to two of his trusted officers Jadon T. Fenimore and Tazer S. Lodyev to lead the entrants through the Dolomite Mountains in preparation for the White December. ,Entering is pretty simple - simply tag along with Jadon and Tazer on the trail. The trail is to be completed over the course of two days - everyone rides in the same flock (although one can of course keep to oneself). Half-way accomodation will be in a small cottage camp. At the camp there's also a shooting rink where your rider can earn their RIFLE LICENSE in case they don't already have it. They will be instructed and supervised by the two professional soldiers leading the trail. NO SHENANIGANS ALLOWED ON THE RINK. ,To EARN YOUR RIFLE LICENSE, draw your character on the shooting rink. ,P R O M P T. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Pretty simple: let's see your horse + characters tag along on the trail : DWe encourage collaborations and interactions, but only include other people's characters in your artwork with their consent. Feel free to draw fails, spills, mishaps of any kind - but no serious injuries to anything other than one's dignity, please. This is a training trail. Whether your horse already has plenty of showing experience or none at all doesn't matter.Requirements:- Horse must be 3 years or above.- No specific tack required - you may use any bridle, any bit and any saddle- Horse should be registered in the group (aka they have to be zlesdins or partbreds)- Image must be submitted as a reply to this journal to be countedRules- Training image should be fullbody + coloured- Artwork made for this trail counts as a SHOW ENTRY (endurance experience)- Image must have a background (no purely photo backgrounds allowed)- Textures and custom brushes are totally OK- We encourage featuring other participants (with their permission, of course)- ...Collabs are welcome! Each party gains full points for such an entry.- Interacting and plotting with other participants is encouraged - this is supposed to be a fun, relaxed event!- ONLY ENTER IF YOU PLAN TO BRING A ZLESDIN/ZLESDIN PARTBRED TO TWD ...you can still enter if your Zlesdin is already qualified. But don't enter if you aren't planning on joining TWD :'>Prizes:The 'main prize' of entering is of course earning experience in endurance for your horse and/or rider - and possibly for the rider to obtain their rifle license needed for entering TWD.
