Queen Titania by Midsummer night's dream // design from the grapich novel God save the queen by Carey and Bolton for Vertigo comics

I love this costume and I'm pretty sure is one of my favorite. From time to time, I feel the need to wear it again, and so it happened at Lucca Comics 2014, for the sixth time.
Of course, there is something different everytime time I put it on: make up, hair, accesories even the petticote may vary.
Generelly I use two pillow under the gown to have a more french look, but sometimes in the comic, Titania wear a big circle petticoat and I wanted to try it. The gown is a full circle skirt (actually, a duble circle), so it works really well with circle petticote and it wasn't as painul as generally is with the two heavy stuffed pillow.

For hair and makeup, I decided for a young version of the Queen, so no long nails, no heavy skin make up, just a shimmer dark-to-bright pruge-pink lipsick and some goldon pink eyeshadow on the corner of my eye.
I have to say, most of the credits goes to the perfect light and atmosphere that :iconrotshwarze: found.
