and this style of drawing fur has been a very recent development?
it's fun and a bit easier to manage
i wont use it for everything, but it seems like a good way to practice the flow/direction change in fur

Sure! I'm fine with people using my artwork when it's my personal pieces,, for commissioned artwork you'd need to ask the commissioner as well, since they own the character featured (<- just for future reference in case you come across a different piece of mine that you'd like to use, my commissions usually have someone mentioned in the description, or smth like "C." in the title)
