It's a good sign when I've gotten a commission done before 3 p.m and still feel like I could keep going >:0 gonna get some more stuff done today

Also, I think I've figured out canine hindlegs???? After years of mixing in human anatomy to make it simply look functioning, I made one extra observation and now it actually looks doglike finally!
What's the revelation you ask? Well it was: "stop placing the knee so damn low" I realized that the knee-part of the hindleg barely goes lower than the level of the torso or elbow-part of the frontlegs and that I always tend to make the upper part of the leg look longer than the calf-part. So currently I basically have to force myself to place the knee-part higher up because I've become so used to my humanoid mix,, here's for comparison
The most notable difference is probably the change in proportion when looking at the length of the upper part of the hindleg compared to the middle calf part
