Slykak has been fighting in a guerrilla war against an implacable Tyrannical Interdimensional Regime for many years. All his family and loved ones are long dead, but he does what he can to carry on the fight year after year, decade after decade, century after century. He has a great power of regeneration and has been forbidden to enter the Realm of the Dead. It is often the case that all around him die and weeks later he finally regenerates from the bloody mush he had been reduced to. Only to find that all is ashes and waste, his friends and the enemy long moved on.

If you do not mind the curiosity, what sort of lizard is he?

He is based on a Monitor lizard/Komodo Dragon style lizard. Thatβs at least the foundation for his form. Some artistic liberties have been taken and in the sci-fi story heβs from his people have some feather ornamentation on their bodies.

Nice to see some variation. Monitors tend to be all about bulk all the way since Inherit the Earth, but he has quite a neatly sleek look about him.

Heβs getting up and resolving to carry on his fight despite him being the sole survivor of the devastation wrought around him by his enemies. The city no longer has a name, it is ruins and itβs people are now all dead.
