Description Why am I not asleep?

Pen and ink. Coloring is for losers. So are pencils.

...

also, stupid medical scanner is stupid. It looks like a salt shaker because it WAS a salt shaker. Cheap props are awesome.

SPOCK HAS NO TIME FOR HEALING THERE'S ALIEN BUTT-WHUPIN TO BE DONE.

Putting salt in peoples cuts is just plain mean. And he's supposed to be a doctor and help people.

^^ I'm liking this picture; it's beautifully drawn and the characters are winsome ( obviously).

This is beautifully done! Gah, how do you manage to draw like this straight off? I have to put guide lines everywhere first. You're very talented.

Thanks you! I draw like, everything while I'm in class so it's just easier to draw with a pen than to switch back and forth from taking notes with a pen to drawing with a pencil.

In other words, since I'm like ALWAYS in class, I have a lot of practice. = =

I used to scribble in class all the time at Uni. All of my lecture pads had like, a border of scribbles around the edges. Then I started bringing a separate sketch pad. But your stuff has real life and movement in it, I'm still working on that. But I guess practice makes perfect and you certainly get a lot of practice. I need to draw more...

Ah, I keep flustering with thanks over here! You're too kind. ; ;

Haha, I do that too! I doodle so much that I ended up forgoing a proper sketch pad and just use another tiny notebook (which I also scribble down assignments in) next to my actual "for class" notebook. The nice thing about pen is that if you screw it up bad enough you absolutely have to start over and then you can look at the crappy one to see what you did wrong. With pencil, you loose the reference point when you erase it. I've got pages with four of the same thing gradually transforming into what I want from beginning to end. You should try it in your notes!

Hey, that's a good point about keeping the mess-ups rather than erasing them so that you can look at what you did wrong and right. I tended to erase stuff to save paper but that might have been a mistake.

I'm actually currently working on drawing straight onto the computer with my tablet. I used to draw in my book, ink, scan and colour, but I want to do the 'draw' and 'ink' bits electronically. But I am saving the image in stages in case I do mess up (Which I did majorly on my last one >.< so I guess the previous versions serve that purpose. Thanks for the pointer, it's a great idea!

You're most welcome! Oh, for drawing in the computer I can never seem to get the gesture to work as well as on paper so I trace gestures from the paper onto the tablet and then work the lines. XD Maybe I'm weird, I dunno!

Also, pffft trees. Paper is awesome.

Hey, whatever works. I thought I was wierd for scanning drawings when I had a tablet. Never thought of tracing them... might try that... My first efforts on the tablet were terrible, but I'm starting to get the hang of it, I think. It limits me less in the size of what I can draw. I still draw stuff in my art books though, like rough sketches and doodles and random ideas, I like having the paper version and the way pencil looks on it. I agree, paper is awesome.
