WHOO this page is finally out... I had so many difficulties with it. I actually ended up having to do a chunk of the flats, certain backgrounds, and all the shading with a mouse. :'D

notes:

- "isn't jules still paranoid?" well, yeah. he's also an easily occupied teenager who's been traveling for a while. he doesn't really worry about his team members yet, a fact that totally won't come back to bite him in the ass or anything

- idk how common knowledge of them is, so the story rue tells is an edited mashup of two actual campfire stories, "Johnny I Want My Liver Back" (in which a boy takes and cooks a varying part of a dead man who comes back to get him) and "The Golden Arm" (in which a man marries a woman for her golden arm, then steals it from her grave).

theyre not actually scary, so the whole point is to just get the audience so caught up in the slow suspense that they're caught off guard when you scream.

- this page wouldn't be possible without the help of my friends, in more ways than one!

fun fact: the writings in Whitney's notebook are my friends' handwritings, turned into fonts.

shoutout to rica (orange), dart (green), and haley (light blue)!!! (I'm the dark blue handwriting. Yeah, I know, and it actually looks worse on paper).

they're fonts and I have access to them anytime, so who knows. maybe you'll be seeing more of these mystery writers sometime.
