Some jerk I know saw me reading Scorch Trials
and told me what happens to Newt.
I looked it up, found out it really did happen, and cried.
Seriously.
I'm not even done with Scorch Trials.

I read page 250 in DC today and cried. I almost felt like blaming Thomas, but at the same time, I just couldn't because flipping #newtmas5ever .

Yeah. Newt was pretty out of it, even just such a short timespan...... so it kind of was for the best. But at the same time, you can't help but just hope it never happened. I think I'm in denial. I never get over my favorite characters' deaths.....idk why, I'm just awful at handling it. And all of my favorite characters die - seriously, in my top 5, only two of them lived - Minho and Thomas. Newt, Alby, and Chuck all dead....
NOPE. And my parents are insisting on seeing the rest of the series. I almost don't want to see it. But at the same time..... it was a pretty good book except for all the deaths. And the fact that I just thought that Brenda wasn't right for Thomas. At all. *shudders*

I feel the same way. I didn't have to worry about my Harry Potter obsession with Remus Lupin because he doesn't die right in front of us - it only mentions he's dead. I was mad and happy about that....
I knnnnnooowwwww. The Scorch Trials will probs make me cry because of what Teresa did and omfg. I will probably be sobbing like half the movie, and the rest will be spent fangirling over Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

*Spoiler alert*
well, if you're not going to read it, Newt is declared as one of those not immune to the flare. he later gives a note to thomas, saying that he will know when to open it. further on, he is sent to a place for those infected, and when Thomas tries to get him to come with them, he refuses. Thomas goes back to their transport, and remembers Newt's note. he reads it, and it says that he doesn't want to end up crazy like the cranks, and that Thomas should not try to reason with him and just kill him before he goes crazy, but thomas hadn't because he hadn't read the note yet, and was unable to fulfill Newt's last wish. you later find out that Newt did go crazy, and attacks them, then being killed.
at least i think that's what happened. i haven't read it in a while.
