very nicely done, the colours and texture effect on the walls, like the brightness of the sorroundings... it makes the atmosphere happy eventhough it's an old poor area

to the last comment - i like it empty it gives power to the colours, the eye doesnt stand on some silhoute of child, but floats and searches for the secret of this place...
i love the wildness in these tones and structurality of the shadows so to speak...
definititely +fav if you mind...

The colors are beautiful and appropriate. Good shading and perspective. But it looks empty - no people. That makes the scene look sad or empty. How about a child peeking around a corner or out a window? Or a woman shaking out a blanket out the upstairs window? Something to show some life. You do people so well. I miss them in this piece.
