~Watercolor~2007~A piece from "Voices from the Chicago Grave" that never made it into the 2nd edition of the book.
But the story can be found in the book. This is another haunted cemetery statue that can be found in Chicago.
Wandering statues tend to be a strong character for cemetery ghost stories. But this particular one, it is said, was sculpted with an actual human skull inside it.
Why?
I'd like to think it was an artistic choice.

Your watercolors are just so good! I have enjoyed looking at them all. This one in particular caught my attention. Very well done, everything about it. I have always wanted to paint watercolors but just never could do much with that medium. I appreciate it, nonetheless.
