I'm listening to the radio (AS WE SPEAK!) and they were reporting on the Los Angeles fire that continues to rage.

Last evening we went up to Baldwin hills to gawk, from afar.
If I were to say this was taken in the midwest, no one would care. Clouds look like that all the time.
But this was taken in LA.
And that cloud is the rising smoke from the distant mountains.
