Description
Pamoja ("together" in Swahili) is the son of Kiara and Kovu, the brother of Zamani and Amina, the mate of Fathiya, and father of Mwenye.

Pamoja grew up always believing he was the first born, thus first in line for the throne and the true Crowned Prince, never knowing that his parents switched their sons' titles and birth order soon after birth. However, he learns the truth one day by accident after overhearing his parents talking with his grandfather as a teen. Shocked and outraged that his life had been a lie, and that his brother had been rightfully cheated of the throne because of superstitious pridemates, he confronts his parents, demanding that they return the throne to it's rightful owner - his brother. But they refuse, stating that, while they themselves don't believe that Zamani is some reincarnated form of Scar, the pride does, and that they would not follow another "Dark King." They will not change their Crowned Prince again.

Pamoja decides then to take matters into his own paws. If they won't do anything, then he will, he decides. Thus, he decides to hand the throne to his brother on his coronation day. However, that never comes to pass, for not long into their young adult years, Zamani leaves with their Uncle Tanabi, unable to handle the stares and whispers of the pride any longer. Pamoja is furious as well as sad, but he understands.

Thus, it's with a heavy heart that he ends up accending the throne that does not rightfully belong to him....

NOTES: Redid Pamoja's ref, although the only thing that really changed was his eye color. I found that I liked him inheriting Mufasa's eyes better than Nala's.
