Bluh, bluh...Vespa and Orin.
Yeah, I changed Vespa's design... No more dragon tail.. Instead her hair can move about like it's alive. Changed her face too, now she looks like a different version of Queen, yes? Good.
I'm not sure I fancy the armor on her shin but I like the knee guard and what's on her thighs.
Orin is sleeping on her leg which is covered by the shirt she usually wears over the black outfit there.. Changed up her clothing a bit too..
These characters are still going through the design process really ... .so changes, changes, changes...
Yes I know, that's not very professional-like for someone considering becoming a concept artist.

yep, quite a cutie that one. so then i suppose queen is the...."queen bee" of your characters then eh? i have to say thats quite cool. and i love her face structure, normally people try the cutsie wootsie look with there characters of the female persuasion. here she looks very mature, experiecned and what have you, and yet there is still a sense of profound innocence at the same time. like someone who has seen it all and yet....deep down prehaps still just a child at some level that wants to be comforted. me like it.

Everybody else has already done the 'this is concept art' bit to death, so I'll say this much; I for one rather like the armour on her greaves (the knee and shin armour). I matches the design of her pauldrons and bicep armour nicely, it's elegant yet simple. The hairidea is what I love most though. Much more original than a tail.
Overall, another expressive graphite image from you. I look forward to seeing further iterations of the design.

Ah, thank you very much..and I'm glad the idea for her hair is considered better than a tail.. I did kind of feel like a tail was veerrryyy..... I don't want to say marie sue-ish but.. > > I mean really... Plus it had too much color for her..colorscheme I guess.. It stood out too much to be believable.

Hell, I still haven't completely settled on Toko's look; there's nothing wrong with making revisions over time, even in pictures that go beyond simple sketches. I look forward to seeing more of your work, hopefully soon :3

Unfortunately .. I'm on a quiet hiatus..
I came to the realization I've lost sight of why I should really be drawing.... Not for the approval of others but because I love it, for myself.. It's not supposed to be a chore..
So to fix it...because..there's no way in hell I could ever let myself give up on art...
I've chosen to kind of ignore DA and the other places I post my art for a while.. and simply draw.. draw draw draw..
I suppose so far I've failed at ignoring DA altogether.. but I certainly won't be posting anything until I'm ready. (So technically things will seem no different considering my art posting has been somewhat dry for a good while already) ....

actually, my dear, this is what concept artists do, alot of prototypes and one final product, so dont worry your pretty little head about this, trust me, i go through the same thing. Also, i do like her armour, outfit and design overall, the Shin armour is ok, but the lower part looks like it would impede her walking ability, maybe making the shinplate shorter would help.

And I suppose you're right about that. Her armor is probably going to go through some more design changes before I'm satisfied so for now, no need to worry about it too much.

Conecpt artists don't come up with their final version in one go dear, that's the point of being a concept artist :I You make concepts and then later the conecepts get refined, as you are doing now c:

Shedoes look more like Queen... I think her armor looks good and the changes to her hair are great it looks awesome. Good job on her posture too.
