I cant remember how to do it now. Most of the mods come with a readme file telling you how to do it, if not there should be some guide somewhere on the forum

Because well , RE5 isn't the easiest game to mod .
I was very used to install plenty of mods on Oblivion , but it was sooo easy i barely made errors

Dont worry i messed up alot before i got them all to work. Mainly because some files were missing that somehow hadnt been copied over from the mod files and caused the game to crash at certain parts. If that happens just go through the game files and check they have all been copied over and nothing is missing. If its all done right then it will work fine. It took me alot of testing to get them right without any crashes or bugs, i had several problems with missing voices, missing textures and just weird bugs particuarly in cutscenes like hair would be sticking out everywhere in weird spikes lol. Was all just missing files from the mod files then it was all fixed

Before you do anything though make sure to backup all the original files incase you mess up and the game crashes you will need to replace with the original files to fix it so you can figure out which file was causing the problem. Some mods require files to be deleted so is best to just keep the originals all backed up somewhere

Yes , i have the same problem with a mod i tried to make myself by mixing up some others .
I tried to replace sheva by Warrior Chris and Chris by Shirtless Wesker in order to have some fun moments in the game , but there some " pawn " stuff missing somewhere ...
If i already mess up by trying to change the skin , i don't immagin myself changing Chris gesture and voice to Wesker , oh god

This isnt in the game so you didnt miss it Its the PC version so the raw files can be modified. I modded Chris's model into Wesker and played storymode as Wesker (also works in cut scenes) This is the part where Chris walks into the house and grabs Allyson (in this case Chris is Wesker)

An easy way to tell a mod to the real in game Wesker is if you see those 2 bits of hair falling down at the front, that only happens with the mod. Sometimes in cut scenes his hair looks normal and sometimes its hanging down like this just depends. I dont know why it does this but it just does

No Allyson is in all versions. She is the girl in one of the early chapters (i forget which) who gets taken by a majini. I dont know how people know her name is Allyson but thats who it is [link]

Oh, what's a majini? I'm sorry if that sounds dumb, since I'm on the final level, but the only research I ever did on RE5 is what to do for that Executioner guy at the beginning.

Yep. They're not zombies cause they're not dead or infected with the T-virus. They are basically upgraded versions of the ganado's from Resident Evil 4. RE4 had no zombies either though everyone calls them that. They werent dead, they were being controlled mentally by the plagas that they were infected with (Las Plagas virus) Same with RE5, they are infected with plagas but upgraded versions in which they are quicker acting than they were in RE4 (Leon lasted ages with the plaga in him while in RE5 they become infected almost instantly) and instead of being slow like in RE4 in RE5 the new version of Las Plagas also made them faster, hence why they can now run. If you watch the cutscenes in the early chapters you see a man being forcefully infected with the plagas, getting it rammed down his throat then quickly becomes infected and runs to attack you. As they are not zombies, nor ganados, they are referred to as majini's

Uroboros is a different virus all together. Anything infected with Uroboros shows the black tentacles all over them. If they are just infected and have the thing coming out their mouth then they are infected with Las Plagas

I've seen what Uroboros did to Excella, that's why I doubted it. But, what about those Uroboros-like monsters that shoot out of some of their throats when you cut their head off? That looks like Uroboros, just not as severe. Wesker infected HIMSELF with Uroboros, but he was able to control himself, and he was still human with the Uroboros as a weapon replacing his arm. Maybe it was the injections that fought the Uroboros off....

Im guessing that sounds like the plagas again when you shoot their heads off, its not Uroboros in anything other than Excella, the infected guy you have to kill in the incinerator and Wesker himself. Wesker was able to control it because it fully bonded with him, it didnt with anyone else because they were rejected or 'didnt have the right DNA' for it to bond with them. Wesker talks the whole time about 'only those with superior DNA will be chosen by Uroboros. Only those fit for survival will be allowed to carry their genes into a new age' When he infected Excella with Uroboros, she was rejected which is why it overtook her and she couldnt control it. Wesker has the correct DNA so he was able to fully control it and bond with it. It became part of him rather than taking over him. He had to infect himself to fight Chris. He wouldnt have been strong enough on his own by that stage since Chris had overdosed him of his virus which acts as a poison when hes given too much. His last resort was to infect himself with Uroboros to kill him
