Percy's a character I've had for a couple years now and honestly I wasn't gonna bring him in so soon but then LunaPrinBeauty brought in her character, who's his best friend, soooooooooooooooooooo y'know

Personality:Percy's the kind of person you end up with when you make a D&D character and put literally all your stat points into Intelligence. He's got no physical talents to speak of - he's get very little strength, could be blown over by a stiff breeze, and can run fast but not far. And despite how learned and well-read he is, he hasn't got any common sense to speak of, and is completely socially inept.
Still, he cares deeply about the things he deems important. He wants to help "fix" the world, even if he's woefully misinformed about what needs to be done. He cares deeply for his Pokemon, though he's too anxious to really battle with them, so he mostly has them help him with his ~Science~. He's a hopeless romantic who tends to fall head-over-heels for anyone who fits his taste, even if he barely knows them. Seriously, someone please help this child. He's 200 lbs of anxiety in a 100 lb body and his friend Eve is the only one really keeping him together.
Backstory:
Percy considered his life to be a series of unfortunate happenings that he’d managed to fight his way through. Largely ignored and forgotten by his sprawling family, he threw himself wholeheartedly into his schooling, and later, into Team Magma. When there was an… incident with Team Magma wherein he may or may not have accidentally caused his family’s apartment to catch fire, he joined Team Aqua instead. When Kyogre and Groudon were summoned, almost destroyed the region, and were then subdued by a small handful of trainers doing the league challenge, Percy suddenly found himself without a home to go back to or a Team to follow. Fearing that law enforcement would come for him, he spent months living in Secret Bases across the region, scraping by, making plans with his friend online to move to a new region called Etryae where they could be roommates and he, unbeknownst to her, could escape his past.
A more astute, outside observer, might realize that joining a gang of ecoterrorists, accidentally committing arson, joining another gang of ecoterrorists, going to great lengths to avoid law enforcement despite have been an exceedingly minor player in the aforementioned ecoterrorism, and then moving to an entirely new region to live with someone he’s never met in real life... well, that’s not so much a series of unfortunate events, but a series of extremely stupid mistakes and poor decisions. Especially when one includes the less dangerous incidents, like when he got a full sleeve tattoo to impress a guy who had never expressed more than a friendly interest in him.Ivywood is either going to be yet another in a long line of poor choices, or the place where Percy finally gets his life together. Only time will tell.
Fun Facts:
- Has a full sleeve tattoo covering his right arm, based off of the Kyogre mural found in Granite cave. It's part of why he's so reluctant to take off his hoodie.
- The bandana his Poochyena, Ein, wears is actually Percy's old Team Aqua bandana.
- Extremely pyrophobic.
- Loves anime. Probably a little too much.
- Really good at Sharpedo-surfing???
- Stutters terribly when talking to other humans, but generally doesn't when talking to himself or Pokemon.
- Internal monologue is just constant screaming.

Info: Ein was given to Percy when he first joined Team Magma a few years ago. He's a clever Poochyena, and does his best to keep his trainer safe, but is mostly relied on as an emotional support Pokemon. Percy carries him around like a teddy bear when he's particularly anxious.
