MY FIRST COMIC OF 2015!!! BOOOOYYAAAA #TwentyFifteenA silly comic indeed. I can never take racism seriously. It's too stupid.

Also, that bat pony is officially a new OC of mine. Her name is undecided. Suggest names, maybe? This could be fun!
Unintentionally Racist Lyra should be more popular than Human-Obsessed Lyra.

The bat pony's name has been decided. It's "Undecided." Undecided is what her name is.
Yeah, I know she has the same mane as like every single other shitty bat pony OC. So YES, rumors confirmed, she IS a recolour-- of every single other shitty bat pony OC. On a side note, I have to admit I grow tired of seeing bronies squirm and writhe over every similarity between bad OCs. Get it together. I don't point and scream at every other guy on the street with the same hairstyle/colour as mine.
Also, the actual value of this character to me seems to have been overestimated by like everyone. She's just a stock character if I ever need a bat pony in another comic.
Since EVERYONE ELSE seems to care, I officially allow unrestricted right of use of Undecided to anyone and everyone. No need to ask. Knock yourselves out!

This artwork has an awesome technique and close to an excellent originality. This story of a niave pony who thinks that bat pony is a vampire pony. Sheesh! Okay, this vision and impact are okay. As for the designs, they are not bad at all. This story is pretty well done, though. This comic can be from My Little Pony: Frienship is Magic. As for this series, it's for small children. Twilight Sparkle was voiced by Tara Strong who provided the voice for Bubbles from the Power Puff Girls cartoon series from Cartoon Network. Bat's Racist can be basically clever.

A nice comic speaking about bat ponies in which made My day haha. If anything the comic tackled the basic and racist things one might start with. Vampire no, yes she's just a pony, and yes she's cute. The style was unique with itself and did a great job just portraying the topic(only thing I'd change is make it night).
Altogether great comic with the bat-pony, gave me a good chuckle, and I'd honestly like to see this continued. Of course about the batz 'cuz it's all about the bats.(jk) :3
P.S. Love the Bat Ponies. And thanks for reminding me of the moments where my friend is being a racist to bat ponies! XP

I love it, I think it is very subtle; expressions are great. The comedy situation is spot on with a lot of real life awkward scenarios I can imagine at least ONE of us had been through lately. The show's style expressing art is great and reminds me a lot of the Scott Pilgrim graphic Novel style which I love dearly, but it could have gone on for longer and it ended up in some crazy bizarre comedy scene, it would have been better.

Its not good to talk about racist things. Like. I know it's used a lot but t I just don't like how its used in this way. I like how its drawn and the shading, just don't like the racist thing about this. And with all the things happening in the world right now. So. at the moment, I am kinda 50 / 50 about this little comic strip. I really do not want to see so rude about this. I will say, don't stop the comic strips and reach high for your art goal. And dream really really big now.

I love this. For once Lyra isn't obsessing over humans. And the situation here is something that can naturally happen IRL. And the Bat Pony's reaction to Lyra is so spot on, though I am surprised she didn't get furious like most humans today do.
The facial expressions are so spot on that it I couldn't help but critique this. Sadly though I didn't find this hilarious, and it doesn't leave too much of an impact. It was cute and charming, but I have to say, you have had better comics. And that isn't a bad thing. Always Improve yourself.

Zebra Cake
Ingredients
Makes about 10 servings
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter (200 g), at room temperature
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
For the chocolate batter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
Directions
Grease and line with parchment paper, a 24 cm (9 in) round cake pan. Preheat oven at 180 (350 F).
Whisk together in a large bowl the dry ingredients, flour salt and baking powder. Set aside.
In another bowl mix the cocoa powder with 1/4 cup milk and 1 tbsp of sugar.
Mix butter with sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and mix until well incorporated. Add vanilla extract.
With the mixer on low, alternate adding gradually milk and flour mixture until all is well incorporated.
Remove two cups of the batter and mix them with the chocolate mixture.
Use one tablespoon for each batter to create the layers of batter on the prepared pan. Begin from the middle of the pan, take one spoon of white batter then over it add a spoon of chocolate batter and repeat this steps until all batter has been used. (If you don't have the patience to make these layers just add one batter on top of the other and create swirls with a knife or fork to create the marbled effect)
Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes on a cooling rack before removing from the pan.
Serve as it is or top with chocolate glaze.

The comic made me giggle, and that's a good sign, for a comedy comic, but there wasn't a joke that specifically made the proverbial "LOL" for me. Then again I am quite jaded! ^^ Ignore the pretty stars to the right, they are meaningless for comics.
One of the things I like the most about this is the over the top expressions of the characters. With these cartoon styles exaggerated expressions are underused, and loose value for it. But I think you hit the nail right on the head, mostly with Lyra. Like when she hides behind the edge of the comic, or when she starts screaming. A lot of comic creators like to rip off one style where it looks like they are always yelling. So props for not falling into that hole.
I see you really focused on the facial expressions, since for the most part the ponies are draw from the neck up. And while Lyra went from Happy to scared to embarrassed, this bat-pony was bemused or annoyed through the whole thing, and you managed to give her several expressions to express the same emotion over all.
So, overall, good job.

I know this is all in fun, but as a genuine chiropterophile (and one time member of Bat Conservation International), I hated to see bats in Equestria portrayed as "vampires" (even if they only drink fruit juice). But what really bothered me was making Flutterbat wild, feral, giving her fangs (actual vampire bats break the skin with incisors; other bats have cuspids to eat food quickly while in the air), and giving her red, slitted pupils like a cat (so far as I know, no bat has pupils like that).
Anyway, I don't want to make a federal case out of it, but this pic was a good place to vent.

Can't tell you the number of times I've had people come up to me and speak Spanish because they assume I don't speak English... what's worse, I'm Asian. So, yeah, I've been in the batpony's shoes.

I know your comment is old .. So sorry for bothering you .. But this interests me on the fact you are Asian and people tried speaking Spanish to you for assuming you don't speak English.. Well, I can't say she's completely at fault, going by Equestrian logic. Lyra got her special talent and likely occupation right there on her flank, while bat ponies don't get cutie marks in the common fancanon (and if they do, it would be covered by their wings most of the time).
Nice comic, though love her face in the seventh panel.
