Description A common and all too frequent argument my husband has with the cable company's automated answering service. And yes, he bit the phone. He's normally quite calm... >.>

The eighth installment of the Domesticated Geeks series, this one took me close to 18 hours. (Pencil sketch, traced and colored in Photoshop.)

Wow.... hilarious! You wanna hear something funny? I find that the recordings are often more helpful than the operators. I literally repeated my problem 6 different times before the guy was able to tell me the correct procedure (the other 5 times he kept telling me to do the same stupid thing I did before I even called).

Oh, yeah, definitely. It's like they can't comprehend when they're dealing with someone semi-computer literate. I have to start out by telling them what's wrong, and what I've already done to try to fix it before they try to get a scripted word in edgewise.

Of course. We've had the same thing with our internet, except the recording tells us if we continue to have internet issues to visit their website for troubleshooting info. I wonder what kind of idiots we have running this country sometimes....

Yeah, I call it 'phone rage.' I just find it pretty entertaining that it can be brought on by a condescending computer quicker than an actual human being.
