This is the download for the two mods I combined sometime last month.(I do have their consent to upload this.)

To explain what the moon mod does, it'll change in a cycle.
It may look like this, a half moon, clouded and completely unseen, and so on.

Beautiful! But will this mess with map skies? (Like, downloaded maps that don't come with the game that already have a set sky, if that makes sense?)

It doesn't mess with the sky like that. You will still be able to see the weathers like usual. It only adds the star and moon textures, the weather etc will remain uneffected.

It only affects the moon, stars and clouds. If the map has a sky file it should still generate it normally.
I could post an example later if you wish.
