To celebrate DeviantArt's 23rd anniversary, the staff has a brand-new tutorial that teaches viewers how to draw colorful and scrumptious-looking birthday cakes. For my submission, I decided to draw a rainbow cake, topped with pink frosting and rainbow sugar hearts. This cake represents the colorful and diverse art community, since artists use color in many different ways. Rainbows also represent peace and coexistence within communities, which reflects how a lot of people here on DA gather together to share their artistic talents and collaborate with others. This cake is also single-layered instead of multi-layered like the tutorial shows, because, like I always say, quality is more important than quantity. Still, it's quite a colorful feast for the eyes. Wouldn't you agree?
