'Do you savour or repugn the touch that might be your last?'Precision, detailing and technique; the three key features of any photorealistic art. In this sketch I tried to encapsulate the convoluted skin pattern of the thumb finger, basically a study of hand.
Medium used: Charcoal (General's 2B, 6B) + Graphite (Steadtler 2H, 4B)

Great job! those out of focus areas are tricky, i've yet to do that right, did you just blend it and blend and blend ? excellent work on the thumb by the way! her chin and upper part of her face (upper as we see it) feels kind of flat though, i can only assume that area was very brightly lit in the photo-ref . happens to me all the time haha
but yeah great job
