Thomas Bangalter - Daft PunkSo basically, I had many problems with the vacuform table (hey, it's a new medium for me) so, about 4 days before the con, I ditched the vacuform method and hastily made this helmet. MANY people LOVED it at the con, but I didn't. There were many bumps and erosions on this 4-day helmet. It just lacks the professional quality that I strive for.
Unfortunately, this was taken after my metal guitar-necklace broke. I'll later upload a picture of it, but here's this one, just cuz it's so cool.

omg this is the best ever! I love the daft punk robots. it just blows my mind that you can even ATTEMPT to make helmets like that, or valtiel monster skin T__T/ my hero..hehe you should do interstella 5555 cosplay : D

Another wonderful photo, and the black-and-white effect with the red letters gives it sooo much atmosphere. You see my eloquency is going down with every picture I see here.

Question! *raises hand* How'd you get the marquee thinger in there? Sometime next year, I want to try to cosplay a Tele-Viper [GI Joe], and they have a running marquee in their helmet, over their eyes, as well. If it's a trick of the trade though, that's cool. : ) I can figure out something, I'm just curious how you managed it.

Absolutely awesome. I know TJ had taken a bunch of Billy pictures in there on Friday and we all commented on what a wonderful backdrop it was- I never thought about how great it would compliment your Daft Punk. ^_^
