Well hello everyone and welcome to my first deviation of 2013! Hope you all enjoy it :D! Let's have a show of hands, how many of you out there on the internet love Sailor Moon*raises hand*? And how many of you are excited that a revamped version of the show's coming out THIS SUMMER*flails arms like a mad woman*! I'm hoping that this little fanart with all the other crazy-amazing fanart out there will be enough of a push for someone, anyone to release a trailer, a teaser image, just something from the new show, I'm dying here! As for this image, I sketched a chibi of miss moon while I was manning my table at Anime North last year with ~Kinopia , then Luna-P and left it a while. Then when I heard the new show was coming out, all the moon nostalgia came back and the sketch was screaming to be coloured. Hoping to have this printed for this year's convention season and I'm wracking my brain for an idea to draw something else moon related. Any ideas :D?

So cute~ I really love the background design. I like the way your work utilizes shapes and design really well in the background. Like dem clouds and adorable stars, they look great

Actually the abstract-y backgrounds came from me wanting to paint out clouds, but not wanting them to look light and fluffy, I wanted the bg to pop out with the way the character's cel-shaded. And here's my first try at that [link] !
