The original game has some amazing voice work, "Oh. my. Cod!" is pretty great too. It's basically a piece of modern art.

I'm super pumped for whenever it is that I pick up a copy of the remastered REmake. I've really wanted to get into Resident Evil for years but I haven't had the proper chance to do so until now!

I'm kinda surprised to hear that you haven't played Resident Evil. But I guess I shouldn't talk cause I think the first one I played for myself was RE4 haha. I'd watched my friend played the earlier ones before that (and maybe I tried one of them once?) but 4 was the first one I bought for myself.

Watching some guys play RE4 HD on Youtube was actually what inspired me to give RE another go, actually! I briefly played both the original and the REmake for a little while, but playing through a medium that I'm not used to (it was through emulation and on a Gamecube, respectively) was making it difficult. But now I can finally play on a system I'm more comfortable with! idk I guess I'm just picky.

No, I totally understand, I've mentioned it before but I'm the worst when it comes to tank controls and capcom seemed to stick with those for ages so it's just a giant pain in the butt.
I've never been able to really figure out the gamecube controller either It's probably easier if you own the thing and play it daily but I didn't have one so... I never figured it out.
I'm kinda hoping capcom would remake the second game too but I guess that's what the On rail games were for hah.
