another of those settings I have a long relationship with: San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge [link] where, for several years I was a volunteer docent. I can't tell how many times fron 1984 on into the early 1990s I walked the trail crossing the bridge.

The footbridge here is across a creek whose path now is a wandering route between the diked-off salt ponds.
