I hear you, man. I was lucky enough to get my first DSLR for Christmas, and I bought an extra zoom lens to go with it. Other than that, I can't really afford more equipment for a while. I am very happy to have the things I own though.

Practice, practice and more practice! My father is a photographer, so I've picked up a lot from him and Deviantart is a wonderful place to meet amazing professionals. You have already seen how many amazing people there are here. It is a great learning experience.
