It is! I gave the canvas a watercolor paper texture and set the brush to "fringe" for the watercolor effect! I'm happy you think it looks convincing!

Thank you so much! I used one layer, watercolor paper texture, set the painting effect to "fringe", and then I think I just used a mix between the default acrylic brush and a custom brush called "parrot" (although I call it "bloop"; the settings for the "bloop" brush I used is actually on this Sai Brush Settings picture I made for someone if you wanted to add the brush to your Sai program! rayfloret.deviantart.com/art/S… )
