stimmt. aber da ich hier das volle negativ benutzt habe, konnte ich es leider nicht gerade aufs papier belichten...
mit der alten kamera auszurichten ist eh fies. im sucher ist alles spiegelverkehrt

The reason I said that is I was hanging out at this weird ass cement plant yesterday, taking photos. This one definitely rivals mine though.

great story
i cant imagine how yr negative is in real life but this technique makes yr photo seem like an old print
i love it
how is the technique called ?

hehe thanks.
there are many techniques involved. which one do you mean in particular?

rawimage In reply to maromar [2007-02-27 20:58:48 +0000 UTC]
ohh I see. Well it is normal printing, but he showed me the difference between printing with a large aperture and short time or long time with a small aperture - and in which case it's better to use the one or the other.

Very cool. I like the explanation too.
Also you should know, I'm not a fan of pronounced signatures or stamps, but yours is perfect here, and if anything, greatly adds to the unique feel.

Glad you enjoy it.
Yer, signatures are a delicate issue ofen out of place. As you know I have several in stock so I can add the one who fits... if there's fitting any..

sometimes I miss my old darkroom, how much did your friend pick up the enlarger for?

you wont believe it: fifty lousy bucks. The lens alone is worth 240!

although i would love this even more with less at the top and a bit more at the bottom (angle a bit down), i think this is my absolute favourite of your gallery...
