I draw in Corel Painter and use the Chunky Oil Pastel brush

no it's not bad anatomy! It's really cool because its not what people normally like to draw these days (no offence intended to ANYONE). It's a nice change of pace

well, for the most part people like to draw more moderate facial structures (me too!) because it's attractive. Narrow/pointed chin, modertate cheekbones... a very sleek profile. Admittedly this portrait doesn't have the "omg, so hot/beautiful" effect (sorry if I offended you) but again, I find the drastic facial structure (like a wider chin) interesting (because I'm weird ) On the whole I know I should try to have more face type variants in my own work, but I keep forgetting

Well, it's just a matter of taste - I love more "hard-edged" faces, with fallen cheeks and so on. But in the same time, for example, when I draw my OCs, I try to make some differences in their faces, and then I don't really care if I like it or not - they are my dear friends in my head, and these distinctions give them some personality
