Description "OH, YES

there are worse things than
being alone
but it often takes decades
to realize this
and most often
when you do
it's too late
and there's nothing worse
than
too late."

(Charles Bukowski, 1920-1994)

Με κίνδυνο να κατηγορηθώ ότι επαναλαμβάνομαι:
Never too late, never too hard!

Bukowski is my most beloved bastard. He was a genius, educated to the core and yet he chose to speak with the simplest words, not because of drunkenness but due to wisdom. I love him.

P. S. Not all critiques are to be judged by the perceptions of out five senses..

Bukowski was a revelation for me. After 10+ years of writing and thinking that my "style" was unprofessional of some sorts, Charles just gave me a wink and so i go on.
He knew a lot more than what cold words could describe, and so he warmed them with some piss n shit to go well with the background.

p.s. kinda hypocritical don't you think? asking for words of judgment based on some"thing"'s essence?

You already gave a critique, so hypocrisy is out of the picture.

plus, you don't have to get all defensive.. realize that im not judging your ego, or who you are or what you think you're worth. None of that. Just the size of your post on a website. nothing more.

Copyrights. A nice joke online.

who's gonna steal your work? Your work, by being uploaded here, is already being copyrighted by you.
plus, you don't have to put it like 1024 pxls or whatever.. 600? 700? 800? enough to be able to see the light in them. but i guess im the only mo'fo who's blabbering about this for months

RaVeNuS9 In reply to SuperHeroshima [2009-04-20 09:43:27 +0000 UTC]

They have already stolen my work. And I would gladly sodomize those who did it. I hate small photographs too, I really do. But trust me on this, nobody is protected online. Except for the established artists, whose work -if ever stolen- would be caught on the spot. It's a risk we all take, to upload work online. But it's a whore we all love to fuck. Maybe cause it charges that much. I don't know, it's too early, and I haven't slept at all. Once again, I must sincerely apologize for the small size. Photography should only be viewed in big scales, just like in painting. So this here is only a preview-I hope better than nothing

SuperHeroshima In reply to RaVeNuS9 [2009-04-20 09:51:45 +0000 UTC]

surely. But just for fun, if your work ever gets stolen, and you realize it, and u see the other person taking advantage of your work financially, then you can even win his house. Every time you upload a picture here, a log is kept. This log, proves when you uploaded this, and when you took the shot. In any court, or arbitration board, you'll win the case hands down, cause no matter what, your dates will be first. First to take the picture, first to upload, then the sucker came and did what he did, his dirty ol'job.
At least that's what i'd do if i found out that someone fucked me over. I'm sure that as universal, sony, paramount etc are safe, so am i.

plus, you're hearing (reading) me squeeling here cause i want more from you. Not creatively, but visually. i see it, i feel it, i just wanna experience it more like sex.

Yes, all these apply to the case someone makes money out of your work. But if he/she just uses it claiming it as their own, can anything be done?

Sex, yes.

SuperHeroshima In reply to RaVeNuS9 [2009-04-20 09:57:52 +0000 UTC]

yes, you can go and brutally murder him/her. That's always an option. Or you can just realize what just happened, and maybe laugh about it. Even in this case, you can still take everything he/she owns. That's the "beauty" of things. they're there to prevent idiocy from spreading to us loooooooooool (gelaw monos mou xwris logo).

sex indeed

the key is to realize there is no "too late", neither "too early". There's only "now".
