Description And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!
- extract from The Raven, by Edgar Allan Poe

You have an art thief following your work, tread carefully with her:

This is simply beautiful, my favorite raven on deviantart. Do you have a print of this particular piece for purchase?

Well i noticed the Raven in her name!*proud* They are very beautiful birds, mystical and wild. I love the sepiaish tone in this piece and I am very fond of the compostion which gives a very nice feeling to it. The brushes look natural and they tone i to each other very well. It was also good that you managed to keep the same degree of "antiqueness" in both the foreground(the raven) and the background which I believe is important to create that smooth and ancietly mystical tone. Very nicely worked on this piece. You should be proud over yourself
Keep on with your manipulations, they are only getting better and better!
It is really a beatiful piece!

Like it a lot, you have to teach me how to make those. If I have to tell the truth (which I always do, my name is Veritas after all...) I did not notice that thing with the raven before either...

Brilliant composition.
Have you ever read "Crow" by Ted Hughes? Some of the poems there would fit very nicely, better than Poe, I think.
