Description Another doodle from my old sketch book. I've seen a lot of E.S fan art with him wearing wonka's hat and I was like, wot the hell? How would he put it on without ripping the dam thing, and then I thought how would Willy feel if he found his hat ripped to shreds? Poor edward looks so guilty in this picture... lol! x

Lol, your cartoons are so cute and funny always.
You should really try to make them more professionally and start coloring them, they look very good.

Well your very talented. ;clap:
And yes Scissorhands is maybe the most difficult thing to draw (i experienced that in making him as a doll).
But worth to try for sure !

I bow to you for making a doll of him! Out of curiosity, what are his scissors made from? The doll I mean of course. Lol.

*scurries off to practice drawing edward scissorhands

Oww thanks
The scissorhand i cut with a kitchen-scissor out of an aluminium pencilebox. Rubbed the sharp sides off and glue then 5 by 5 together.

In deed it sounds. the work on it is less simpel.
to glue them for exemple. 1 second glue will not hold on aluminium / aluminium.
between every slice alu i glued a little paper. so the edges i glued were aluminium/ paper / aluminium.
that will hold!
then sew the scissorhands on the arms. difficult too, but with patience i did it.
All those little probs i solved at the same time while i was busy with it.
And that is the challenge i love so much...
wow, what a story.
but nice enough to know though?

you have lots of patience. I was wondering cus I'm doing metal work at art school soon, I want to make puppets with it, and was wondering how you made the scissors on your es doll. I'm not going to make an ES puppet, but there are parts on the puppet that are in 2d, others in 3d. it's gonna be fun! x
