Alright...this deserves an explanation. This background - this scene is NOT what I had envisioned for this figure. In fact, I'm still in the works for the intended scene. For some reason, I slapped her onto a practice bg I was doing and couldn't stop myself. I'm not so sure I should be posting this...having two deviations with the same figure with different backgrounds may not be recieved well. But you know...it's all in good practice - and I need it.

The Figure:
A Samurai woman. I put this under the anime category because her hair is purpleish-blue. She has blood running down her face - an injury sustained after carrying out a job. The scroll in her robe (you can see it right under her breasts there) were the orders - perhaps a bounty? For whatever reason, she has it stowed there and she is coming back from said job. Not completely happy with the colors - but they were meant for a darker scene so all in all
The Scene:
Peaceful and sunny to contradict her figure. She's bleeding - she's hiding her face from the sun and she's dressed in white which reminds me of winter. Crossing a meadow that lies just beyond the mountains that tower in the distance. The local wildlife is taking flight as she passes. Messing with such things as perspective has been nice, though I don't have the hang of it quite yet.

Colored with a tablet on Photoshop Elements

Time:
Unknown. The figure was done seperately and the background before that. The mountains, birds, mist, and grass blades were added once the two were together. So it's hard to say.
