wow, have to admire your "courage" using so light colours without heavy parts on it beside the black bird!

yeah it was really difficult actually, I needed to take some time to think how the hell I was going to pull it off when the focal point was pretty much a 'black' figure.

but the result came out wonderfully! sometimes itΒ΄s just necessary to take risks in art, or else youΒ΄ll never move forward and learn new things

This is so lovely. I like how all the elements are incorporated and that background is awesome. It's great to see how you incorporate new skills into amazing new art.

Oh! I saw the b/w version and didnΒ΄t think it would turn out THIS good?! ItΒ΄s always about the colours with your works, itΒ΄s like some kind of magic.
The pattern on the orange circles reminds me a lot of my ancestorsΒ΄ patterns, so they feel very "right" and good...
And the crowΒ΄s "black" plumage isnΒ΄t black at all, itΒ΄s so colourful at a closer look... Wonderful, as always

eh? i only see three? water, earth and fire... is the light considered light element?
meh! its really purdy, nice work!

Crow, being able to fly and also having feathers (a good altar substitution for air in light of not having incense), represents Air.

ohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! O_O interesting interpretation!
that reminds me of a seagull, the way you said it...
the seagul can go on land, into the air, and into the water! :3

*nods* yup!
in paganism, or Wicca, birds are suited to the element of Air, since they are the only animal (aside from the bat and obviously flying insects, which are also suited to Air) which have mastered the wind as excellently as they have.
